1What Plumly does

Plumly is a free iOS app for the screenshot graveyard. You screenshot, dictate, paste a link, or share a post into it, review what it found, and Plumly keeps it ready to act on — a place to go, an event to catch, a plan to keep.

2Why make a Guide

A Guide is a set of recommendations in one place — your favorite restaurants in a city, a perfect Saturday, a route worth walking. Instead of re-typing the same list into every text thread, you make it once and share one link. Anyone who opens it can save an editable personal copy into their own Plumly. Your personal notes stay private; only the fields you put in the public Guide are shown.

This is for everyone — not a creator program. If you use Plumly, you can share a Guide.

Already have it?

Make sure you're on the latest version. Guide sharing is coming in the next update (submitted for Apple review); once the new version is live and on your device, you'll be able to publish a Guide from any list you've saved.

Someone sent you a Guide link? Open it in a browser to read it right away. To save your own editable copy, install Plumly and open that same link again.

4How you'll make one

Sharing a Guide is part of your normal Plumly account — there's no separate creator account.

  1. Agree to Terms & Privacy. A quick, required consent step before anything else — the same for everyone.
  2. Build as a guest, sign in to share. You can put a Guide together as a guest and your draft is kept. Sharing any Guide link — public or unlisted — takes a quick sign in with Apple.
  3. Set up a public profile. A display name and a handle — this is how you'll appear on your Guides. Your account email stays private, and your profile shows only the Guides you publish.
  4. Make your Guide. Start from things you've already saved, from a post or link, or from a blank Guide. Review everything, then publish — publishing is always an explicit final step.
  5. Share the link. You get a plumly.app/g/… link. Choose public, or unlisted for just the people you send it to. Sharing always waits for you to send it — nothing is posted automatically.
  6. Update any time. Edit the Guide later and the same link keeps working — the link is stable, so you never have to re-share a new one.

5What people who open your Guide get

They can read your Guide in a browser without an account, and save an editable personal copy into their own Plumly. Their edits are theirs — they never change your original, and your original never changes theirs. If you unpublish or delete your Guide later, copies people already saved stay with them.
